EXPERIENCE

Mr. Viens joined Bain Capital in 2005.  He is a Partner, Head of Risk, Process and Controls and the Chairman of the Risk and Oversight Committee, based in Bain Capital’s Boston office.  He is responsible for leading initiatives primarily focused on improving business process outcomes and risk management.   From 2005 – 2022, Mr. Viens was the Global Head of Operations supporting the Credit, Special Situations, Public Equity and Partnership Strategies businesses at Bain Capital.  Previously, he led the Treasury Operations function at Investors Bank and Trust and held various leadership positions at BankBoston.
 
 

EDUCATION

Mr. Viens received a B.A. from Assumption University.
