Bill Braxton

EXPERIENCE

Bill Braxton joined Bain Capital in 2026. He is a Managing Director on the Credit team, focused on investor relations, with primary coverage responsibility for institutional investors across the Central US and South, including US public pension plans, endowments, and healthcare organizations.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Bill spent four years at Goldman Sachs Asset Management as a Managing Director in the Global Client Business, covering institutional investors across the Southwest and Southeast US. Before that, he was Managing Partner and Founder of Pacenote Capital, a boutique placement agent focused on capital solutions for independent sponsors and emerging private equity managers, and previously held roles at Barrow Hanley Mewhinney and Strauss, Crestline Investors, Merrill Lynch, and IBM. 

EDUCATION

Bill holds an MBA from the Wharton School and a BBA in finance from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.
